Hey,
I'm Brian.
I am a sports photographer having taken pictures for over 10 years in mainly basketball and football. It's a fantastic journey capturing the sporting moments in my local area as well as all around England.
From grass-roots beginnings.
I used to play a lot of sports in my teenage years. Football. Basketball. Tennis, Badminton. Athletics. The list goes on and on, but I had major surgery in my knee which stopped my journey and I found a new passion. Photography.
I started off taking pictures for family and friends birthday parties and events at a young age. I carried on my love of photography into the world of performance such as street dance, hip hop, Afrobeats and contemporary where it was fast paced, intense and full of emotion. I was moved by the speed of capturing moments at the right time. The importance of being in the right place at the right time gave me the excitement and understanding that I knew I wanted to become a sports photographer.
I now end up back on the sporting grounds I once used to be the participant of and I'm capturing those same moments that made me love sports. It's become my new home.

The process includes becoming a part of each community. Trying to spend capture the essence of the football club in its authentic way. Getting to know the people and having the understanding on how, I can be of importance behind the camera to tell the story for their audience. The essence of 'The process' is what makes my work so enjoyable for me.
